Dashing through the .... rain

we dont dash through the snow in singapore. we dash through the rain! it has been raining since this morning and its making me lazy and super inefficient. i dont really know whats wrong with the weather lately. its crappy and moody. worse than my pms.

me no like. but its awesome when it rains at night. super cool and chilly

2011

i just realised that i havent update anything in here for abit a year already. time flies eh? or im just plain lazy. hmm

anyway i wanna sum my 2011 in this post

- started working. officially a grown up now. boo hoo

- penang in february. just a short weekend trip. oh had the most awesome pan mee dry ever. everytime im there i will surely bug him to bring me there. he said ppl come penang for penang laksa or char kuey tiaw but u come for pan me. but i always ignore him

- family vacation in april (sg-mlk-kl-terengganu-kl-sg)

- southern regionals in april too.

- oh i had bangs in march. dad thinks i look like a china doll

- mlk friends came down to sg in august. went zoo, science centre, marina walk and clarke quay

- went to sentosa in oct. was a surprise plan by u know who. its our one year anniversary. he bought the play pass where we can choose to ride on any 3 of their main attractions. we chose luge, 3d laser tag and 4d show. i think i miss out stg hmm. oh luge is soooo good that we sat 3 times. its abit pricey but what the heck. we r only there once so might as well. 4d show was pretty cool. but the 3d laser tag kinda suck cos i cant aim and shoot. boo.

- had 2 of my wisdom tooth removed. ppl say there will be alot of swelling and bleeding. but mine is fine. i can even eat kfc after i had them removed. but the stitched kinda hurt abit. but it was bearable

- started studying for CFA dec 2011 paper. unfortunately i did not pass. not even close.

- celebrated xmas and new year in mlk. ting was with me for new years party. he went bck for xmas

so thats it. thats pretty much my 2011. ntg much

so i went on a 3 months plus summer programme in sheffield hallam university.

its like this collaboration they had with my ex college which allow final year adv students to go on a 3 month summer programme to get their post grad degree. you need to complete the local adv dip first tho.

the entire programme is built around 2 or 3 subjects. i cant remember how many. was long time ago.

so basically you will have half of the week free to do loads of travelling and sight seeing.

i think most of the students that went for this prog is nt because of the degree but for the travelling.

it costs me about RM45k in total. inclusive of flight, tuition fee, accomodation, tour within uk and a 2 week europe tour. it does not includes personal shopping. i repeat. DOES NOT include shopping.

so yea basically thats about it.

it was a great experience.

oh to make it better, we were there during the summer. not too cold and not too hot.

i'll post up some uk experience photo when i have the time k.

2010

i have a lot of things to say but im just lazy
2010 has been a pretty good, more than just good, it was a GReat year for me
will try my best to recap what has happened k.

jan
- first time doing external acca paper (fortunately i passed all 3 of em =D )
- celebrated grandpa's 80th birthday
you know what? im just gonna put all of them together cos i cant remember all of em. im getting old =(

so,
- i did my accaS and passed them (first attempt yo!)
- grandpa's bday celebration
- southern regional convention, Ipoh
- recycling project part 2
- tarc group 12 dinner at san francisco steakhouse
- redang family vacation
- went uk to further my studies
- was on a 2 week europe tour (belgium, netherland, switzerland, luxembourg, france, germany, italy, etc etc)
- sat on the most exciting ride, oblivion. its in alton towers
- paris disneyland!!!! i have this list of things i wanna do and must do kind. disneyland is one of em. so i can happily tick one off. hehe
- realized that im actually quite an awesome cook =)
- experience snow for the first time. almost freeze my ass off. bt i survived
- volunteered in an international convention. met ppl from all around the world. its like ive traveled to 19 different countries in less than 10 days!
- helped out in a service learning program too, OSLP.
- oh tarc graduation. my 2nd graduation. gonna have another one in feb 2011.
- im no longer an acca student member. im an AFFILIATE now =)) proud moment 101
- got a job offer in kl n spore. took the one in spore. am starting soon =(
- dubai. not a nice place. dont like it. not even a tiny bit.
- another family vacation to thailand. with grandparents as well
- christmas party with my good old friends. love chu muchhhhh
- also a new year dinner with the same good old friends. love love chu muchhh
- and finally, him =)

so yep. thats 2010.
